For those of you that are unaware, October is GAY HISTORY MONTH! My birthday is coming up in a few weeks, too (October 26). For those who would like to (golden?) shower me with gifts, feel free to do so. Gay history month and my birthday in the same month – coincidence? I think not.
Speaking of gay, I just read this in the newspaper: “The type of plastic used in many refillable water bottles…is polycarbonate, indicated by the No. 7 in the recycling code at the bottom of the container. Polycarbonates, also used in baby bottles and water coolers, contain a controversial chemical called bisphenol A, which can leach into the bottles’ contents. Bisphenol A mimics the estrogen hormone…” WOAH!! Thanks, mom, for making me gay. I always knew sucking on that little nipple of my baby bottle would be the detriment of my heterosexual soul. The next time someone calls you flamboyant just look them squarely in the eye and say: “Guurrrll puh-leez.”
Also, Hispanic Heritage “Month” has just ended (September 15 – October 15). Leave it to the hispanics to denote a month of heritage occurring in the time frame of TWO months! Many of you may not know this curious fact about me but I am ¼ hispanic! I must thank my good friend Ed for inserting this little bit of cultural memorabilia in me.
OK, back to the festivities!!
